These stunning wooden painted toucans are hand crafted in Bali, Indonesia by two brothers and their families. All the products we purchase are exchanged for a fair wage based on fair trade principals. the family specialise in carving toucans (and parrots) making them in about 10 sizes up to 1 metre. There is great demand for their products and the family demonstrate a classic example of a small but successful business thriving on the production of nice quality multiple orders for a single popular product.
