These beautiful keyrings are from Bali, Indonesia. They are sourced from a young woman our suppliers met at a wholesale craft morning market (5am - 9.30am). She only sells butterfly keyrings and small carved snakes which she commissions and buys from village carvers, then paints them herself at home. Our suppliers decided to support this young enterprising market trader since she has the smallest stall and product range imaginable, and is situated well away from passing trade. It is likely that she would go for days without making a sale. Our suppliers now give her regular orders in exchange for a fair wage and we are sure the volume of orders is now making a real difference to her life. Each keyring is individually hand painted and carved in wood to give a unique and original gift or keepsake from Bali.
