Eco Driving: 3 ways to cut emissions when driving!

Cutting emissions and costs on the road can be easy. Car company Smart recently launched and eco-driving initiative to help motorist reduce their fuel bill and be kinder to the environment.

It all starts with 3 easy to remember steps known as ‘GAS’ SAVING YOU 15 - 20% on fuel and emissions.

1) GEARS: Stay in as high a gear as you can, for as much of your journey as possible.

2) ANTICIPATION: Look well head and adapt your speed to what is happening in the distance.

3) SMOOTH DRIVING: Accelerate and brake as little as possible to maintain momentum and hence save fuel.

so remember, GAS when driving!
